Since then Peter has held CEO positions at Wodonga, Warrnambool, Bendigo and Wangaratta and has interspersed his career with a number of health projects overseas in Vanuatu, Lebanon, United Arab Emirates and Kuwait. These projects have included advice on a countrywide level - on hospital and health management, establishment of a hospital accreditation system and an audit of public sector doctors and dentists.
Peter recently returned from Kuwait in early 2009 after almost 3 years, where his major role was commissioning new hospitals and polyclinics, a large part of which included international recruitment of health staff, both clinical and non-clinical. With his executive and international health background and experience across acute, psychiatric, community health and aged care, Peter is well placed to fulfil this key recruitment role.
Peter Wallis

Peter has enjoyed executive management roles throughout the health sector over the past twenty years with the majority of this experience emanating from ongoing appointments as Chief Executive of several rural/regional organisations. Peter has a strong background in Human Resources having worked in this area early in his career and his extensive network of professional colleagues and contacts leave him well placed to assist in meeting the recruitment needs of clients within the health portfolio. Previous experience as a Board member of a number of key Health Advisory organisations including the Victorian Hospitals’ Industrial Association, the Victorian Healthcare Association, and Health Purchasing Victoria, will also assist in developing an understanding of the key roles associated with a range of Health Service entities and the need to recruit professionally to complement these roles.
More recently, Peter has been engaged to assist in developing IT initiatives with specific application to the Health sector and these initiatives have received widespread support and appeal.
